Job Description

Position Summary:  The Engagement, Rewards and Recognition Specialist will take the lead on Startek’s crucial initiatives related to branding, communication, rewards and recognition and engagement. The specialist will partner with Talent Acquisition, Operations and Benefits to organize virtual and onsite events, internal/external branding initiatives and recognition programs with the Benefits Dept.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sharing global communications to the site teams and serves as the liaison between sites, geos and globally

  • Partners with Corporate Social Media and Marketing to identify innovative opportunities to more effectively communicate with existing and potential internal and external stakeholders

  • Provides support to HR, Benefits and Recruitment departments, assisting with engagement, branding, social and extra-curricular activities

  • Develops a year-round calendar of events and communicating these to ensure information is received by internal and or external stakeholders in a timely manner adhering to deadlines

  • Drive Startek’s commitment to Diversity and Inclusion while nurturing a culture that provides opportunities for disabled veterans, employees with disabilities and provide training internal leadership on how to deliver unconscious bias and D&I training.

  • Collates, produces reports and presentation materials in order to showcase Startek.         

  • Coordinates, organizes and communicates approved initiatives and employee recognition programs, program engagement activities, meetings and events for multiple sites.  Events may be held on site, off-site and virtually.

  • Recognition programs/events planning may include, but are not limited to: employee attendance/performance incentives, recognition events, service awards, site campaigns, holiday events, leadership meetings, annual executive offsite/virtual meetings.

  • Documents testimonials and success stories to support the Startek Recruitment and Branding objectives

  • Engaging at a community level with certain programs such as but not limited to community outreach programs, shelters, domestic violence all while keeping a global mindset of a larger platform

  • Updates content for intranet and other HR and Talent Acquisition platforms

  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Human Resources or Communications experience 3-5 years preferred

  • Rewards and Recognition, Employee Engagement and Benefits experience preferred

  • Fluent in verbal and written English  (Spanish a plus)

  • Able to multi-task, have demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment. 

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner.

  • Ability to proactively and continually collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure needed business outcomes
