- Analyzes and records recurring monthly journal entries pertaining to tax and other withholding liabilities. - Reviews, evaluates, and ensures company compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements of the government. - Acts as the liaison officer between the company and government regulatory agencies such as the BIR, PEZA, SEC, SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, etc. - Interprets and implements existing and new tax laws and regulations as well as other rulings of government regulatory agencies. - Coordinates the conduct of tax audit by the BIR - Assists in the registration of new projects and offices with PEZA and other government regulatory agencies. - Coordinates annual year-end audit by external auditors. |
| Required Skills: |
- Expert knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) - Expert knowledge of Philippine Business and Tax Laws - Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. - Ability to mentor others in Accounting - Bachelors Degree (BS) in Accounting from a four (4) year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required. - Four (4) years related experience is required. |
